Scholars Film, with the help of HELLO POCKET, created the opening animation for the 2015 DURBAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.

The brief from the Center for the Creative Arts was to link the animation with this years poster theme, which is sardines, famous for their annual migration past our port city. In addition the piece had to showcase a taste of Durban. This was, for us, in many ways a love letter to the city we’ve grown up in.
