Co-founder of Scholars Film and winner of a Gold Lion at Cannes and a Best Director at the SAFTA’s, Colwyn is a director/writer with roots in illustration and journalism.  Those origins continue to inform a visual sensitivity to storytelling and a creative process driven by good conversations. "We like to talk as much as we can and ask a lot of questions of our clients and partners," he says of his collaborative approach. “The creative process needs to have a really rigorous structure so that everyone can love being a part of it. But there has to be room for vulnerability. That’s what makes for the beautiful work that sits with an audience long after they’ve stopped watching.”
